About

School Social Workers work to ensure that the social and emotional well-being of all students allows for them to achieve success in the educational environment and in the community. They accomplish this by providing counseling, consultation and advocacy in collaboration with school staff, families, and through mobilizing community resources and partners. Responsibilities include helping students develop the skills necessary for school success, such as organization, time management, study habits and behaviors, and social skills. Creating a safe place for students to share their feelings, fears and concerns that may affect them while they are at school is a top priority. Experience Novel Dynamic Enrichment (to) Achieve Vibrant (and) Outstanding Realizations recognize that students who possess exceptional talents should be granted the direction, time, encouragement, and resources to maximize their potential.
