Groton Public Schools Mentoring Program

About

Groton School-Based mentoring program provides direct mentoring services to approximately 120 students per year. This program is strictly a school-based program and all mentors commit to one-year of mentorship and meet with their mentees (the student participating in the program) during the school day in a common area of the school. Mentoring takes place for approximately 1 hour per week for the entire school year. Mentoring activities include reading, playing games, participating in hobbies, discussing school and favorite activities, and building the student's confidence.
