Students selected for this program meet once a month during the school day for a group coaching session and meet with a mentor on a weekly basis. The coaching sessions are driven by LifeFAQs.org's sole source Goal Positioning System (GPS) curriculum, which helps students learn to set and achieve their goals while providing developmental guidance for life skills that they will need to be successful. During the weekly sessions, the mentors reinforce lessons taught in the coaching sessions, review grades and build a trusting relationship with your child. Then, after goals have been identified, your student will have the opportunity to make a contract to receive up to $200 of rewards for working on and achieving goals
